BEACON is Better.sg’s annual flagship conference, a volunteer-driven event that brings together technologists, changemakers, and social impact organisations (SIOs) to explore how innovation and purpose can drive social good.
BEACON 2024 took place at Marina One on 23 November 2024, drawing over 270 innovators and changemakers. Themed “Technology × Social Impact,” the event explored how digital solutions can power social transformation.
The programme featured insightful discussions on leveraging AI for social good, exploring technology's role in mental health and community building. Attendees also engaged in practical workshops covering service design methodologies, building data capacity for impact, and utilising Figma for inclusive design.
