Our Story
From a small idea to Singapore's largest tech-for-good charity
Better.sg was founded in 2020 with a simple premise: skilled professionals have time and expertise to spare, and NGOs need exactly those skills. We built a platform to match them.
Today, we've grown to 3,200+ volunteers, have built 30+ projects, and have raised over $500,000 in funding. Our flagship conference, BEACON, has brought together hundreds of changemakers from across Singapore's tech and social sectors.
Our team is entirely volunteer-led, with a small full-time staff to support operations. Every dollar donated goes directly to enabling tech-for-good projects.
