Dear better.sg members,
First and foremost, thank you for your incredible dedication and hard work in driving the #techforgood movement. With over 2,000 members strong, we have shown the power of what a collective community can achieve.
As I step into the role of CEO, I want to reaffirm that better.sg will remain a community and volunteer-driven charity. Your voices, ideas, and contributions are at the very core of our mission. Together, we’ll continue to push the boundaries of how technology can be a force for good and create lasting change in our society.
As one of the founding members, I’ve seen firsthand how we can drive impactful projects. I had the privilege to be part of the ToBeYou project (https://tobeyou.sg/); over 100 members collaborated to create a role-playing game that fosters greater empathy and inclusiveness among Singaporeans by challenging stereotypes and reducing prejudice. This project exemplifies the spirit of what we can achieve.
Looking ahead, better.sg will also place greater emphasis on our advisory pillar. We aim to work more closely with nonprofits, empowering them with tech solutions that can amplify their impact and drive meaningful change. By leveraging our skills and expertise, we can make a real difference in the social sector.
If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can further advance this mission, I’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Thank you once again for being a vital part of this journey. I’m excited about the future of Better.sg and look forward to working alongside each of you as we continue to grow the #techforgood movement.
