At Better.sg, we are committed to leveraging technology for social good. Our volunteers have built impactful projects addressing mental health, misinformation, animal welfare, and social cohesion. Now, we are expanding our efforts by working directly with social impact organizations to support their digital transformation journeys.
At our recent information session, we engaged with 25 attendees from organizations such as Pro Bono SG, SOS, Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support Ltd, and ItsRainingRaincoats. The session provided an overview of our Volunteer Tech Officer (VTO) program and featured discussions on the challenges and opportunities in digital transformation. Meta's APAC Head of Stakeholder Engagement Gavin Chua also shared insights from their own journey, offering valuable lessons for organisations at different stages of digital adoption.
The road ahead will require careful project scoping to ensure impact and feasibility, but the potential to amplify the work of these organisations makes this a challenge worth pursuing.
