🌟 Unleashing the Power of AI for Change: Insights from the better.sg Workshop! 🚀
We’re thrilled to share the remarkable experience we had organising a workshop focused on harnessing AI tools for creating change with A Good Space Co-operative Limited. Last night, over 30 passionate changemakers gathered to explore the immense potential of AI and its societal implications. The event featured four incredible speakers from our community who shared their invaluable insights and knowledge.
Georg Z. of mercenaries.ai set the stage by enlightening us on the lightning-speed development of AI tools and the transformative impact they will have on our world.
Janet Uy delved into the responsible and effective use of AI, emphasizing the need to navigate this powerful technology with care.
Audrey Chia 🚀 captivated the audience with practical tips and tools, empowering changemakers to effortlessly craft social media posts, write blog articles, and create reports in a matter of minutes! She also shared about the amazing work of local AI companies such as Hypotenuse AI
A panel discussion, skillfully moderated by Joel Kek, unveiled the vast potential of AI in amplifying our efforts to build a better world. The conversation was truly enriching, highlighting the unique ways in which changemakers can leverage AI to make a profound impact to build a better world
As shared by A Good Space Co-operative Limited, here are 3 key insights that we gleaned from the session:
🔴 The leap to AI is akin to the leap to electricity and we will see massive disruption. It took 50 years for electricity to significantly automate manual jobs in the US and it will be a much shorter duration for AI.
🔴 To identify inaccurate, AI-generated information, watch out for repetitive or unusual patterns that indicate lack of coherence. You can also leverage AI query tools to detect AI-generated content.
🔴 For changemakers looking to use ChatGPT to generate social media posts, defining it’s role is crucial. Using prompts like “you are a copywriter” produces superior results compared to using “pretend” or “imagine”. Even small tweaks like this can give you a very different result. It’s like giving ChatGPT confidence!
